The new Kidpik box came!

Yesterday Elegances new Kidpik box came in the mail which literally is like her favorite day of the month.  She has a subscription to receive one every month and in return, she gets a box full of the cutest clothes. I serious guys they are all just so cute I can't even begin to explain how much we love the company and the clothing they send.  This box is a joy for her. We have tried other box as stated in a previous post but we just can't get enough of them. You guys should really give a try each box is no more than $98 a box and you receive quality clothes. Simple living really is nice and saves alot of trips to the store once the items are on hand. Some thing I make daily or weekly are breads, jelly's,butters and crackers ..These are simple items very easy to make. For example Jams/Jelly basic needs are the fruit and white sugar least 1 cup of water .Bread basic flour ,eggs,and milk .I soon will be posting details on each until then ENJOY!

Almost Perfect Crust !!

So I've started looking for the perfect crust for pizza we love homemade pizza and crust is important . Yesterday I think er actually found a decent one a little thick but it serves its purpose . And sometimes I dig thick crust not a fan of thin. This crust took 30 mins tops to prepare. I'm going to make it a few more times before I post the recipe also I have 3 more crust ill be trying.Be looking out for my final favorite crust !!

     This week has been good for us we got a lot done and had bunches of fun together ! But, what happened? I'll tell ya ! The Icky cold not only got me but the whole crew egh ! But no fear we are going to knock our colds right in the face. Our menu consist of homemade soups, teas,cream of wheat, oatmeal, Fiber ,fiber ,fiber and vitamin C lots of oranges .
Menu List: Ginger Soup,creamy broth, veggie trays, orange juice,oranges,orange tea,ginger tea,bananas and more !!
Some good deals going on is a lot of stores is in season for markdowns of diapers check out Target,Marcs , Walgreen,CVS,and rite aide for groovy sales !

Thai Chicken Larb Lettuce Wraps with Brown Basmati Rice-PLATED

        Today my plated box came in I was so surprised because it came so fast I was impressed.

This box came with two full meals that feeds 2 people but it can easily feed 2-4 people if proportioned right it would work. The meal I prepared today was Thai Chicken Larb Wraps with Brown Basmati Rice let me tell you it was mmm mmmm so good! Very easy to make the meals are set and laid out for you. 

Ingredients:

3/4 cup brown rice 

1 Thai Chile 

2 tablespoons cilantro

2 shallots

1 clove garlic

1 stalk lemon grass

3/4 pound ground chicken

2 limes 

1 tablespoon fish sauce 

1 tablespoon of light brown sugar 

1/4 teaspoon sriracha

Items at home :

medium pot with lid 

large skillet

whisk

1 tablespoon of vegetable oil  cups of water 

Kosher salt 

black pepper 

1 1/4

The Twist !

Hey !! We are back up and running I have many post coming threw ! Bust start off lets talk about Bumbas' Hair . So over the weeks shes had a lots of growth. I figured it was about time to try some mini twist, I know what was I thinking Huh? No clue but seemed like a great idea at the moment . Because, Bumba wont stay still for long I did these with in 2 days.
Before I started these I will say I didn't start with pre-washed hair .I had already had her hair in medium twist so I sectioned into 4 parts and started with one section at a time. I used Bee Mine Luscious to braid with and Bee Mine Hold to seal with. No rubber bands were used as you see she developed some "curls" at the end which is Awesome ! Next week Ill be doing a vinegar rise on scalp and condition the ends with the Bee Mine Daily. I'll be doing a update soon!
